The House of Representatives voted
former IRS official Lois Lerner in contempt of Congress, great,
wonderful, so what. Atty. General Holder was also held in contempt
by Congress and nothing happened there.
The case now goes to, Obama appointed,
U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, Ronald Machen, who
supposedly has the “duty” to bring it before a grand jury.
Nothing happen to Holder, he still has his job, so why would anything
happen with Lerner. Lerner is retired, living good on her pension of
over $50,000 a year and still has not talked to the committee, still
has not admitted to anything.
It appears that being in contempt means
nothing if you are a government worker; no wonder that over 2,800 IRS
workers received bonuses, including the 1,150 who owed back taxes.
If you are a government worker you can misuse government credit cards
for travel, use drug, threaten others with violence and fraudulently
claim unemployment benefits with no criminal charges against you –
in fact you get rewarded with a bonus.
